Our focus is on alternating current electrophoretic deposition (AC-EPD). We have developed some theoretical basis for AC-EPD by defining electric field affected zone (EFAZ).

 We have studied the effect of applied frequency in the range of 1-10000 Hz in planar electrodes, and understanding phenomenon like chain formation in ceramic nanoparticles.



 Also, we have found some applications in fabricating electronic parts such as gas sensor.

Now, our current research is understanding the mechanisms in AC-EPD.
